Nicoletta Meloni, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano at the Building and Architectural Engineering. After a visit to a stone factory in Italy she easily recognised the potential coming from mountains of wasted precious material left aside. After some collaborations with architectural studios between Milan and Barcelona, ​​he moved first to New York and then to London, where he currently lives and works as a facade designer and explores in parallel the potential of marble.

Nicoletta Meloni is the founder of Marte, a digital platform that talks about health, wellness, design and architecture and where she launched her first experimental work “The Rocky Kit”, a set of fitness equipment made of travertine. The focus of the project is the optimization of the use of each single piece coming from marble production processes, avoiding the use of virgin material. His objects are entirely produced using waste from stone production.
